A Field Relying Heavily on Nature

Assuming the nature's designs in the formulation of technology falls under the umbrella of bio-inspired robotics, commonly referred to as biomimetic robots. Bio-inspired robots focus on replicating the specific features, intrinsic mechanics, and movement behaviors found in the living world. It is self apparent, but it gets interesting to note that bio-inspired robots are able to be marketable as they perform specific tasks more efficiently.

Robofic fish are the first instance of the bio inspired robotics as they focus on replicating the movement of actual fish. Driven by motors, the robotic fish are made of flexible composite mesostructures which enable them to swim through obstacles.

Another instance includes bio mimicking robofic insects that replicate the movement patterns of their predecessor able to perform autonomous flight. The advanced control systems assisted agile movements and accurate targeting which enabls robots to fly as real counterparts.

The field where bio robots can be implanted surely goes beyond the imagination for its literally endless possibilities. It suffices to conclude that all attempts on making more advanced devices should be encouraged, as it will in return help improving quality of life. And, that robots in the near future due to the above mentioned seamless seamless integration will make the previous life seem rudimentary.
